Suzanne LaGasa is a graphic designer and art director whose creative practice is driven by a love of color, typography and a conviction in the power of aesthetics to create a more beautiful—and meaningful—world. Her work strives to bring clarity and delight to the storytelling experience, navigating between wonder and resonance. In addition to an expertise in publishing, Suzanne is experienced in digital design, branding, and project management.


Suzanne studied graphic design at the California College of the Arts (formerly the California College of Arts and Crafts), San Francisco. She also holds a B.A. from the University of Washington, where she fostered a love of reading and  world cultures while majoring in International Studies and French Language and Literature. Suzanne is fluent in French and Portuguese and she can get by in conversational Spanish.


Suzanne has worked for dwell Magazine, Chronicle Books, The VIA Agency, Martha Stewart and Scholastic. Her clients have included The Monacelli Press, MRY, Observer Media, L.L. Bean Media, and AirBnB.
